Direct Hire

Getting it right the first time with fast results is our goal. Tell us what position you're hiring for and provide us with a few job details and we guarantee to find you the perfect fit. 

We take each candidate through our screening process of background checks, reference checks, and a final interview before passing them onto you.

We're so sure of our results, we don't charge a single penny unless you hire the candidate we refer. 


Only pros allowed!
We require all of our 86'Team to have a minimum of 5-6 years of experience with most of them having over 10+ years under their belt. 
ServSafe Certified
Each member of our team has a valid and current ServSafe certificate. A copy will be sent to you before they start.
Background & Reference Checks
Background and reference checks are conducted during our screening process before they join our team. Our strict acceptance guidelines and checks ensure there're no surprises. 
Payroll? Taxes? Insurances?

We take care of all payroll, taxes, workers comp, and insurances. We've got you covered.

No Long-Term Contracts
We don't believe in long-term and complicated contracts, we like to keep it simple. You decide how long you need our services and you can cancel anytime for any reason.

Pricing and payments

For our job listings, you sign up for a monthly subscription package which renews monthly on the date of purchase. You can cancel this at any time by contacting us.
For the 86'Relief Service, we bill week to week (Monday through Sunday). We submit our invoice to you the next day after our weekly cycle and once confirmed, we bill the card on file. Our 86'Team are required to have a time-card completed and signed off by you prior to charging the card on file. 

86'Relief hourly rates

Hourly rates will vary depending on the position you need relief work for. For example, an executive chef or general manager will cost more than a line cook or dishwasher. We let our 86'Team decide their hourly rate based on their skill set and experience. 


Are we fast?

For direct hires, it usually takes us 3-7 days to provide you with a list of candidates we have pre-screened and are ready for a final interview with you. We like to only refer candidates who we know will be a good fit.

For our 86'Relief Team, it really depends on how booked we are and in some cases, it might take up to a week but, keep in mind -  we don't just hire anyone, we hire some of the best professionals in Maine. 

Contracts and insurances

We don't tie you into long-term contracts as you set the time-frame (you can cancel anytime). Our contract outlines the services, what you expect in return, the rates, time frame, and other legal necessities to protect all parties. If you're interested in using our services, you will be sent copies of our contract.

Our 86'Team is covered under our Workers Comp and General Liability Insurance Policies. Our goal is to help make your life a little easier when it comes to staffing. 

When does my listing goes live? Can I edit it?

Usually within 5-20 minutes, but we do check your listing for any spelling mistakes, errors, or missing information. We will contact you directly and even fix any mistakes with your approval. If you have an active job listing you can edit this anytime by visiting your employer dashboard. 

How do candidates apply to my job?

Candidates apply directly to your listing via our online submission form. You can choose to manage your applications from your employer dashboard, or contact them directly using the provided contact details. When we advertise your position from our social media, we divert all traffic back to our site and directly to your listing. 

Where can I find my invoice?

If you subscribe to our job board, an invoice will be automatically sent to you upon purchase. If you use our 86'Relief or Direct-Hire services, we will send you invoices directly.
