2. How do candidates apply to my job?
Candidates apply directly to your listing via our online submission form. You can choose to manage your applications from your employer dashboard, or contact them directly using the candidates provided contact details. If you've chosen to use our Direct-Hire service, we handle all of the applications, screenings, and interviews on your behalf. Once that stage is completed and they have passed our checks, we send them to you for an interview.
3. When does my listing goes live? Can I edit it?
Usually within 5-20 minutes, but we do check your listing for any spelling mistakes, errors, or missing information. We will contact you directly and even fix any mistakes with your approval. If you have an active job listing you can edit this anytime by visiting your employer dashboard.
4. I want to use the 86'Relief and Direct-Hire Service, whats next?

5. How fast are we?
For direct hires, it usually takes us 3-7 days to provide you with a list of candidates we have pre-screened and are ready for a final interview with you. We like to only refer candidates who we know will be a good fit.
For our 86'Relief Team, it really depends on how booked we are, sometimes we can have a chef to you within a day, and sometimes it can be up-to a week. Keep in mind - we don't just hire anyone, we hire some of the best chefs in Maine.
6. Contracts and insurances
When using our 86'Relief Service, we don't tie you into long-term contracts and you get to set the time-frame (you can cancel anytime). Our contract outlines the services, what you expect in return, the rates, time frame, and other legal necessities to protect all parties. If you're interested in using our services, you will be sent copies of our contract for review.
Our 86'Team is covered under our Workers Comp and General Liability Insurance Policies. Our goal is to help make your life a little easier.
7. Can we hire the 86'Relief Team permanently?
If you like the chef we sent you from our 86'Relief Team you can always present them with a full-time job offer. If they accept, there is a small buy-out fee associated. You can use our chefs for however long you need to see if they would be a good fit for your business on a permanent basis.
It's like a ``try before you buy`` type of deal.
